About Us

We are the Ukulele Band of Felixstowe — a lively group, mostly retired, who still know how to have fun and love making music together! United by a shared passion for the ukulele and a good singalong, we bring energy, smiles, and toe-tapping tunes wherever we go.

Our friendly band regularly performs for community groups, clubs, care homes, and social gatherings, spreading a little happiness through familiar songs that people love — from ballads and country classics to rock and roll, the odd sea shanty, and everything in between. Each of our gigs lasts around 50 minutes and is packed with music, memories, and plenty of good cheer.

Usually playing in village halls, churches, community centres, and residential homes, we need space for between between 8 and 14 band members,  and we don’t charge anything.

While we often play for older audiences, we’d also love to take our music into schools. The ukulele is a popular starter instrument for children, and we think it’s a brilliant way to spark a lifelong love of music.
